FEASIBILITY STUDIES
At a very early stage of the project we are called upon
to consider the suitability of the site for the intended
work. Typically for a feasibility study we can do the following:
- Organise topographical survey
- Organise soil and environmental survey
- Summarise the results of the surveys and in conjunction
with a Quantity
Surveyor advice Clients on the cost benefit or otherwise.
SITE INVESTIGATIONS
An important part of our work is the provision of investigation
and advice on building failures. We have a broad background
in this field. We are normally appointed to advise on one
or a combination of the following:
- Structural failures
- Water penetration
- Cladding failures
- Component performance evaluation
- Detail understanding of loadings
- Materials performance
- Investigation of building defects
STRUCTURAL SURVEYS
Our Structural Engineers are frequently called in to carry
out Structural Surveys primarily to determine the suitability
of buildings for conversion, addition or for their intended
use.
We use a comprehensive range of equipment where these are
required in order to carry out an objective assessment.
STRUCTURAL DESIGN
Andrew Howard & Partners provide a complete design service
for all structural elements using computer techniques.
We have the capability to design structures in a wide range
of material, with framed or load bearing solutions, with
building types ranging from education, leisure and exhibition
stands to commercial and industrial buildings both in the
public and private sectors.

and designers in providing structural solutions in their
realisation of design expression and detail.
CIVIL DESIGN
Andrew Howard & Partners have been involved in the design
of civil engineering works directly for clients as well
as being part of a design and construct team.
Our design experience ranges from infrastructure design
for housing to multimillion-pound water treatment works
to facilities for waste transfer.
NEW CONSTRUCTION
The Company provides a significant capability of
using a wide range of materials for new constructions. We
